On the 14th September 2018 Coalition”Kultura Mira” Zavidovići, with the support of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized a visit of youth from Zavidovići to the site of monumental mediaeval tombstones “stećci” in the vicinity of the village Beše.
The goal of this visit is to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and promoting the cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Coalition “Kultura Mira” Zavidovici is a local coalition that gathers several civil society organizations to combat prejudice and intolerance in the society.

In addition to visiting the site, this event aimed at introducing young people to the history of the monumental mediaeval tombstones “stećci” and their importance through a lecture held at the site.
Coalition “Kultura Mira” has set up an information board as well as road signs leading to the site itself.
Members of the  “KULTura Mira” coalition with this and similar activities want to draw the attention of the public to the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage of Zavidovići and their tourist valorization.
