La nostra Associazione è ufficialmente nella shortlist dei candidati per il Paweł Adamowicz Award 2023.
Si tratta del premio istituito dal Comitato europeo delle regioni e dal Comune di Danzica in memoria dello storico sindaco che incentrò le sue attività sulla promozione della solidarietà, l’integrazione dei migranti e delle minoranze, il dialogo con la società civile e la promozione dei diritti fondamentali a livello locale.
Fu eletto per la prima volta sindaco di Danzica nel 1998 e ricoprì tale carica fino a quando fu assassinato il 13 gennaio 2019.
Il comitato di valutazione composto dalle associazioni partner (UCLG, ICORN, CALRE, CEMR, AER, Eurocities, CRPM, ALDA, City of Gdansk and CoR) ha selezionato una shortlist con cinque nomination.
La proclamazione e l’assegnazione del premio avverrà sabato 13 gennaio alle 16.00 presso l’European Solidarity Center di Danzica.
