Public notice for the selection of Third Sector organizations for the implementation of the Pilot Project within the EPIC UP – Upscaling the European Platform of Integrating Communities project

1. Introduction

ADL a Zavidovici Società Cooperativa Sociale, as a partner of the European project EPIC UP – Upscaling the European Platform of Integrating Communities, intends to select a Third Sector organization for the co-design and implementation of the local pilot project, aimed at promoting social inclusion, youth participation, and support for minors and young people with a migration background.

2. Objectives of the pilot project

The pilot project aims to:

  • test innovative interventions addressing young people and minors, with particular attention to unaccompanied foreign minors (MSNA) and youth with a migration background;
  • strengthen local youth policies and practices of social inclusion;
  • enhance educational, recreational, and information spaces and services for young people;
  • promote participation, active citizenship, peer education, intercultural dialogue, and digital innovation.

3. Planned activities

The selected organization will be asked to collaborate with ADL a Zavidovici in the implementation of the following actions:

  • management of educational, cultural, and youth aggregation activities in community spaces (youth centers, urban labs, information hubs);
  • outreach and street education interventions in neighborhoods with high social complexity;
  • support and mentoring activities for MSNA and young people at risk of social exclusion;
  • participatory pathways fostering youth protagonism, also through digital tools and peer education methodologies.

4. Eligibility criteria

Eligible applicants are Third Sector organizations that:

  • have proven experience in managing socio-educational and youth inclusion services;
  • are stably operating in the Municipality of Brescia or surrounding areas;
  • demonstrate specific skills in reaching out to and engaging young people with a migration background;
  • have administrative and financial management capacity consistent with EU-funded projects.

5. Application procedure

Interested organizations must submit their application including a presentation letter with a CV of their organization.

6. Evaluation criteria

Applications will be evaluated by an internal commission according to the following criteria:

  • Specific experience in socio-educational and youth-related services (max 30 points);
  • Experience in working with minors and youth with a migration background (max 30 points);
  • Quality and innovativeness of the technical-operational proposal (max 30 points);
  • Organizational and management capacity (max 10 points).

The selection will also consider coherence with the objectives and methodology of the European EPIC UP project.
